To request clearance for CCTV systems, use the web portal provided by SIRA. The portal is accessible to any SIRA-approved Security Service Provider (SSP). Initially, all system information, including the model number, camera name, IP address, schematic diagram, and maintenance agreement, must be uploaded by you (SSP) to the web portal. Once you have finished the installation and documentation, you can ask SIRA for an audit.

SIRA will designate an auditor to inspect the CCTV system upon receipt of the audit request. The site audit will have a scheduled time assigned by the auditor. The auditor will verify whether your CCTV system is dependent on SIRA laws and regulations during the site audit. You'll receive a "PASS" certificate if the system complies with SIRA regulations in full. If not, you will receive a "Fail" report from the auditor along with the reasons why it failed and the adjustments or activities that must be made to make it "PASS." The SSP may reapply for auditing once the issues have been resolved.

The Auditor uploads the approved inspection report to an online portal, after which SSP receives an NOC. The license for the business or establishment is only good for a single year.
